For more critical applications, the MED VAC model is available. This provides a high level of control and monitoring (validatable) of the sealing parameters, with temperature able to be set along side heating time together with vacuum and dwell time (see brochure download).
Suitable for continuous use and applications where there is a need for repeatable high-quality results, also removing operator control over the various machine cycles.
Appropriate for use with both single web plastic films, plastic and foil laminates. The machine is based on a Gandus heavy duty semi-automatic air operated Impulse sealer, with a time based vacuum and/ or gas purge facility (as required) delivered by a retracting nozzle.
The Vacuum is provided by a simple Venturi vacuum pump system supplied from the air-line source that also feeds the sealing jaw actuation. An air supply of 6 Bar and a 230 volt single phase electrical supply is required.
The machine is suitable for horizontal or overhead mounting as the application dictates. Astrapac offer a number of different support frames and product trays relevant to the application.
This model is supplied with stainless steel bodywork and is available in a range of sizes.
