This particularly applies to those machines supplied into the Medical industry, which are constrained by certification or that have been integrated into semi-auto packaging lines. On-site calibration is also a more cost effective, if several machines are located on a single premises.
Traceable to UKAS standards, Astrapac can provide a one off or annual calibration site visit, this can also be accompanied by a servicing and or validation requirement. We are also able to provide this calibration service for most other leading European manufactured pouch sealer of similar specification.
CALIBRATION, WHY IS IT SO IMPORTANT
The aim of calibration is to minimise any measurement of uncertainty by ensuring the accuracy of the heat sealers integral devices/instruments that control/monitor the machines sealing parameters. It is recommended to have these devices re-calibrated annually to ensure the errors of uncertainty within the measurement processes are kept to an acceptable levels.
