MARQUIS HEAVY DUTY (Semi Automatic)

Designed for continuous use, where there is a need for repeatable high quality seals and remove operator control of the seal cycle. Its robust construction finds it equally at home food processing factories, engineering and laboratories. The machine uses twin solenoids to actuate the closing of the sealing jaws. Marquis is available in a range of sizes and has either both jaws or a single jaw heated (depending on application and gauge of film). An adjustable two stage electronic timer provides control over the heat and cool cycles. The timer incorporates a self compensation feature, which eliminates adjustments of seal times as the work load varies. The option of a manually operated rear sliding cutter is also available for use with layflat tubing or trimming bags for a neat finish. Operation is simple by use of an electric foot switch (push button version available on request). Sealing is initiated when jaws are closed on the film, jaws open automatically once the seal cycle is complete. Floor stands and other accessories are available for this model see below. Standard machine finish is hard wearing white powder coat. Other finishes e.g. stainless steel, Galvanised as well as higher levels of ingress protection i.e. IP 54/65 versions are available on request.

Manual Trim Facility:

Necessary where bag height beyond the seal are to remain a constant or when making bags from layflat tubing comprising of moulded safety cutter with spring loaded blade which runs 10mm behind the seal bar.

Seal Width:

Depending on application, other standard widths of seal available 4 and 8mm.

Sealing Jaws:

Unless specified, application dictates if either one or both sealing jaws are heated.

Film Roller Kit and Clamp:

Offered for table top use, twin support rollers locates polythene layflat tubing behind the sealer. Suitable for up to 30cm diameter reels. The film clamp lightly traps the polythene film when fed from the rear. "Prevents film sliding back out of operator reach".

Basic Floor Stand:

Allows the sealer to be free-standing. Fixed height, constructed of rigid steel tube, mounted on self levelling feet.
