ASTRAPAC - IMPULSE HEAT SEALER RANGE Major S.D. Heavy Duty (Manual)
Major S.D. Heavy Duty (Manual)
Major S.D. series is a free standing manually operated portable model of heavy duty sealer available in a range of sizes. An important feature of the machine is that both the upper and lower sealing jaws are heated as standard, ensuring high quality seals on heavy gauge or partially contaminated film. Primarily designed for welding thicker polythene's and co-extruded films, other thermoplastic films can be sealed on this unit, i.e. plastic laminated films e.g. Nylon/poly, Polyester/poly, etc.
NOTE: The Major can also be used to weld P.V.C. blister flanges, rigid plastic handles on carrier bags and vertical blind louvers refer to our special purpose pages.
The sealer is fitted with an electronic twin timer for control over both heat and cool cycles to ensure continuity of seal quality. Operation of the sealer is simple, sealing is initiated when the jaws are closed on the film by depressing the integral foot pedal. A lamp indicates the duration of the seal cycle.
Standard machine finish is hard wearing powder coat, colour white. Other finishes and IP 54/65 version available.
Features:
  • Both sealing jaws heated.
  • Spring tensioned heating elements.
  • Integral foot pedal directly linked to the sealing jaws for maximum seal pressure.
